Myth #4: Trauma makes you “broken”

This is one of the hardest myths to shake. Experiencing trauma doesn’t mean you’re weak or damaged beyond repair. It means you’ve been through something hard – and your mind and body did what they had to do to protect you. Healing is possible. Growth is possible. You’re not broken; you’re human.
